I am Oaio, a singer-songwiter from Lille (France) and I write my songs mostly in french now. I started playing folk music many years ago, and then I fell in love with argentinian traditionnal music in my 20s. Later I sort of became a jazz singer and more recently, I got into bluegrass and the 5 strings banjo.

Soy Oaio, cantautora de Lille (Francia) y escribo canciones principalmente en francés. Empezé a cantar canciones de folk hace muchos años, antes de estudiar en Argentina donde me enamoré de la musica folklorica latinoamericana. De vuelta a Lille, fui cantante de jazz (un poco) pero pronto me apasioné por el banjo 5 cuerdas. Ahora, creo que mi musica es una mezcla de todo esto.
